These are pictures of the castles that best show what I have imagined them.
I like this one because it is dark, yet captures a beauty that is worthy of the elves and the Silent that now exist within Midland.
The grey/white walls of this treasured beauty shows the vampire palace towering above all the woods and world around it, protected yet free. It is a beautiful castle. It has also partly inspired the Falccon Palace.
I had a hard time finding a castle that would show the beauty of Wiccana. This one shows it best. It is a graceful place. The magic of the place protects it from what human protection never could. The vast yard is a great way to show the area of plane that surrounds the castle with the woods on the back. It is a castel that looks like it could house the Mages. This one is not a great expamle, for it is not all towers like i had pictured my Mage castle.
This beauty with it’s vast windows and endless glass. I almost exactly what the Palace of Doors would look like. This beauty is covered in windows and doors just like my Metimorphian Palace. I like this one becasue it seems to hold the attention of the viewer yet not destroy the beauty of the landscape. It looks as if it was made to be seen yet positioned to be accepted by the world around it.
Those shifters, seem to blend with their enviroment. This castel is the closest I could come to looking like the dark and quiet castle hidden in the forest of Metimorphia that is the Shifter Castle. I like the bricks and the towers. It has the feel of being safe and dangerous all in one glance. I think it is perfect for the Shifter Castle.
Next are the caves. They are beautiful and breathtaking, and the shifters love to be in them closer to nature in a way unlike any other.
I picture this as the cave that houses the traps. It is such a beautiful cave that putting the trap in this cave lends to the idea that even in such beauty there must be caution. This cave will be the place where danger lies around every corner, and with every step.
This cave is where Jaxson and Quinn first trust each other. I love this cave. It is the atmosphere of grace, romance, and inescapable beauty. It takes the idea of trusting someone to a whole new level when placed in this enviroment.
This is the cave of the Dragons. It is like a safe haven for the Dragons. This cave is majestic, it is the place where Jaxson’s parents lived, and Jaxson was born. I love the way the colors are different, a perfect home for the dragon family.
These are just a few pictures that have inspired my imagination. I hope you get a better understanding of the Enchantment from there pictures.
Tina.
